According to the National Institute of Occupational Health and Safety, 90% of all neck pain and eyestrain is the cause of using the computer for more than three hours at a time. Many people do not realize their computer is not at the right height and causing you even more damage. Todays technology allows us to use Ipads, laptops, and many other handheld devices and these can cause neck pain because you are constantly leaning down to read the material. The best way to avoid neck pain is to make sure your computer is at eye level. Another way is to use two monitors to look at different items, making sure that they are both at eye level. This way you are constantly moving your neck as you look from each monitor.
